Today, the 16th of January 2013, the Area C is one year old!
It was born to reduce traffic in the "Cerchia dei Bastioni" (historical center of Milan) and to improve the quality of urban life.
In fact, it brings a decrease of 41.000 entries per day in the city center! Thanks to Area C, in fact, more than 5 million euro has been earmarked to the development of subways, trams, buses and the realization of the second phase of bike sharing in Milan.
I inform you that Area C is active from Monday to Wednesday and Friday from 7.30 am to 7.30 pm, on Thursday from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm. To enter in the area of Area C it is necessary to activate a ticket and it costs €5,00 (it's valid for whole the day) and you can activate it within 24 hours from your first access (this is of course valid for non-residents). While residents have a right to 40 free tickets per year and once finished they will have to pay a ticket of € .2,00 for each access.

Oggi, il 16 gennaio 2013, l'Area C compie un anno!
E' nata per ridurre il traffico nella Cerchia dei Bastioni (centro storico di Milano) e per migliorare la qualità urbana.
Infatti ha portato un calo di 41.000 ingressi al giorno nel centro città! Grazie ad Area C, infatti, oltre 5 milioni di euro sono stati
destinati al potenziamento di metropolitane, tram, autobus e
all'attuazione della seconda fase del bike sharing milanese.
Vi informo che l'Area C è attiva da lunedì a mercoledì e il venerdì dalle ore 7,30 alle ore 19,30, mentre giovedì è attiva dalle ore 7,30 alle ore 18,00. Per entrare nella zona dell'Area C bisogna attivare un biglietto di ingresso del costo di €.5,00 (è valido per tutto il giorno) entro 24 ore dall'ingresso (questo ovviamente per i non residenti). Mentre i residenti hanno a disposizione 40 ingressi gratuiti all'anno e una volta finiti dovranno pagare un biglietto di €.2,00 per ogni ingresso.
Pensate che l'Area C aiuti a ridurre il traffico e l'inquinamento o è solamente una tassa?
