Among the participants, who come from all over the world, there were also some runners from Milan.
So Sunday, the 21st of April 2013 in Milan there will be a marathon to remember the victims of Boston.
Initiative is promoted by the Municipality of Milan to demonstrate their solidarity with the American people, marathon runners and athletes around the world.
The appointment is at 3pm in Piazza Beccaria. The race (but you can also simply walk) will unfold on the streets Manzoni, Turati and will touch the U.S. Consulate in Milan and will finish at the public gardens "Indro Montanelli".
I remind you that among the runners in Boston, 13 were from Milan.
What has happened is unthinkable and unacceptable. Hitting the joy of running together is a cowardly act that must be fought collectively, going in the street and we running a piece of Milan so each of us in our own way we can express our solidarity with the families of the victims of Boston.
So I invite all milanese people to partecipate!!!
