Other troubles are coming to Trenord!
As you may remember one of the darkest weeks, in recent times, (on the front of the trains) which has drive thousands of commuters crazy between delays and cancellations was from the 9th to the 17th of December 2012. You should know that it not only caused damage to commuters but it has also caused problems to software that handles the salaries of all Trenord (over four thousand of employees). The trouble is always linked to the newest software, Goal Rail, the system which would have to make a change in management staff shifts. At the start it was able to skip all the matches between employees and hours worked, overtime, rest periods, holidays. All information are reset.
The problem interests the payment of December.
How can they straighten out? The company asked employees to communicate their package of hours worked, but it didn't work. So they decided that each will be paid on the base of hours worked in the same month of the last year.
Right at the debut of the new system caused problems like trains left with no staff or personnel without trains. Episodes on which Trenord is investigating from more than a month and a half, with an internal investigation which all commuters would like to know the outcome.
Does a software costed a million and a half euro have to solve problems or create them?

Come vi ricorderete una delle settimane più nere degli ultimi tempi, sul fronte dei treni che ha fatto impazzire centinaia di migliaia di pendolari tra ritardi e soppressioni è stata quella dal 9 al 17 dicembre 2012. Dovete sapere che non ha solo causato danni a noi pendolari ma ha anche mandato in tilt il cervellone che gestisce gli stipendi di tutta Trenord (oltre quattromila dipendenti). Il guaio è legato a quel nuovissimo software, Goal Rail, il sistema che avrebbe dovuto dare una svolta alla gestione dei turni del personale. Nella prima settimana del suo utilizzo è riuscito a far saltare tutti gli abbinamenti tra dipendenti e ore lavorate, straordinari, riposi, festivi. Tutti dati persi.
Il problema pesa sul pagamento del mese di dicembre.
Come risolvere? L'azienda ha chiesto ai dipendenti di comunicare il proprio pacchetto di ore effettuate, ma non è andata bene. Allora si è deciso che ognuno verrà pagato sulla base delle ore lavorate nello stesso mese dell'anno precedente.
Proprio al debutto del nuovo sistema ci si è ritrovati con treni senza personale oppure personale senza treno. Episodi sui quali Trenord sta indagando da oltre un mese e mezzo, con un'inchiesta interna di cui tutti i pendolari vorrebbero conoscerne l'esito.
Ma un software costato un milione e mezzo di euro non dovrebbe risolvere i problemi anzichè che crearli?
