From tomorrow, Tuesday 15th of January 2013, new measures of antismog are provided for in the protocol of collaboration of the Province of Milan with municipalities of the province.

From tomorrow, Tuesday 15th of January 2013, new measures of antismog are provided for in the protocol of collaboration of the Province of Milan with municipalities of the province.
The values of PM10, in fact, have exceeded the threshold for ten consecutive days daily average of 50 micrograms per cubic meter.
Therefore, the prohibition will cover the Euro 3 diesel vehicles without fap (for which the entrance is already banned in Area C), from 8.30 am to 6 pm if private, from 7.30 am to 10 am if commercial.
The protocol also provides for interventions on heating, with the decrease of 1 degree Celsius, from 20° to 19° (with 2 degrees of tolerance), temperatures in buildings and the reduction of two hours (14 to 12) of the duration of ignition of the plants. But weather experts announce that from tomorrow there will be a decrease in temperature (may below zero)! Brr... let us arm ourselves with sweaters, scarves and blankets!
Talking about the temperatures, the mayor asked to the shop owners not to make use of devices that, in order to facilitate the entry of the public, allow you to keep the doors of access open.
The measure will be interrupted after 3 consecutive days of PM10 below the threshold.

Da domani, martedì 15 gennaio 2013, entreranno in vigore le misure antismog previste nel Protocollo di collaborazione della Provincia di Milano con i Comuni ricadenti nel territorio provinciale. I valori di PM10, infatti, hanno superato per dieci giorni consecutivi la soglia media giornaliera di 50 microgrammi per metro cubo.
Dunque il divieto riguarderà i veicoli diesel Euro 3 senza fap (per cui l'ingresso è già vietato in Area C), dalle ore 8.30 alle 18 se privati, dalle 7.30 alle 10 se commerciali.
Il Protocollo prevede anche interventi sui riscaldamenti, con la diminuzione di 1 grado centigrado, da 20° a 19° (con 2 gradi di tolleranza), delle temperature negli edifici e la riduzione di due ore (da 14 a 12) della durata di accensione degli impianti. Ma gli esperti del meteo annunciano che da domani le temperature potrebbero scendere anche sotto lo zero! Brr... armiamoci di maglioni, sciarpe e coperte!
Sempre sul fronte delle temperature viene chiesto agli esercizi commerciali di non fare uso di dispositivi che, al fine di favorire l'ingresso del pubblico, consentono di tenere aperte le porte di accesso ai locali.
Il provvedimento sarà sospeso dopo 3 giorni consecutivi di PM10 sotto la soglia.
